My name is Aleksandra Strzelczyk, I live and create in Poland. My journey with reborn dolls began in 2009, quite unexpectedly. I was running an online children's clothing shop at the time, and the dolls were simply meant to serve as mannequins. That was when they stole my heart and I felt I had to discover how this extraordinary art form comes to life. I ordered my first kit from Germany and learned step by step techniques from American tutorials on YouTube. With each little one, I plunged deeper into this world, ordering supplies straight from the USA and patiently polishing my craft. In June 2012, I brought Studio Doll to life, and I have been running it with love ever since.
For years, I explored the secrets of this art, devoting myself entirely to details. I pour the most heart and precision into hair... my crafted, painterly hair realism has become my signature and something that gives my work uniqueness and an incredible sense of truth, even though they are painted. Now, I have to brag a bit because it makes me burst with pride, and as an artist I am incredibly pleased that sometimes my dolls travel to extraordinary places; appearing in films, commercials, or TV series, and stories about my work have been featured in magazines.
However, the most beautiful reward for this creative devotion are the smiles and emotion in the eyes of people who welcome them into their homes. My tiny works of art live in the most diverse corners of the world, from the USA and Great Britain to Europe and Asia, and many collectors return for more pieces; allowing me to create something exceptional from their vision.
